The Platform

Six priorities for Cajon Valley schools.

Every student deserves to be seen, supported, and set up to succeed. This is the agenda Jolyana is fighting for on the board.

  1. Educational Equity

Close achievement gaps so every child — regardless of ZIP code, language, or income — has access to a high-quality education.

  2. Student Wellness & Counseling

Expand mental health resources, trauma-informed care, and counseling support so students thrive academically and emotionally.

  3. Refugee & Immigrant Families

Ensure our schools meet the needs of refugee, immigrant, and multilingual families with culturally competent services and real translation support.

  4. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Champion district-wide initiatives that celebrate our community’s diversity and create welcoming classrooms for every student.

  5. Fiscal Responsibility

Scrutinize budget allocations to ensure resources are distributed equitably and transparently across every school in the district.

  6. Family & Community Partnerships

Strengthen communication between the district, parents, and community partners for transparent, shared decision-making.
